Saloa: A New Direction

After four books in the Singularity Children universe, I wanted to try something different.

Saloa takes place in a different future—one where humanity has spread to the outer solar system and developed new forms of society based on honor codes and collective responsibility.

A Fresh Start

Writing Saloa was liberating. I could build new worlds, new cultures, new technologies without being bound by established canon.

But some themes carry over: the tension between individual freedom and collective good, the role of technology in shaping society, and the enduring question of what makes us human.
